Registration

Everything you need to get your player on the ice this season. Pick your situation below and we'll show you only the steps, documents and deadlines that apply to you.

Next deadline
July 31REP EVALS

Last day to register for rep evaluations and be guaranteed a spot. Returning player late fee of $200 applied after June 15.

Start registration
Step one

Which one is your player?

  1. 1

    Find your Hockey Canada ID

It's on last season's roster or in your Spordle account. If you can't find it, email the office with your player's full name and date of birth and allow 48 hours.

Do this early. Late requests can push you past the deadline and into the $200 late fee.
  2. 2

    Register on TeamSnap

Choose your division by birth year. U7 and U9 parents will be asked whether their player should be considered for the Major (proficient) or Minor (developing) division. Both get the same games, practices and development sessions.

  3. 3

Pay in full or set up instalments

E-transfer, credit card, or an automatic credit card schedule with the deposit paid at registration. Your spot isn't confirmed until payment is set up.

  4. 4

    Optional: register for rep evaluations

U11 to U18 skaters and goalies who want to try out for 'A' hockey register separately. Evaluation fee is $350 for skaters and $250 for goalies. Deadline July 31.

  1. 1

    Gather your residency documents first

You'll upload them in the pre-registration form. Homeowners need their 2026 Property Tax Statement (not the BC Assessment). Renters need a current lease. Starting without them moves your application to the back of the queue.

  2. 2

    Pre-register with LMHA

A short form with your player's details and document uploads. This is how we create your player's Hockey Canada ID, which stays with them for every hockey program for the rest of their minor hockey career.

Applications are processed in order received. Allow up to 10 business days.
  3. 3

    Fill out PCAHA Form 141

The Player Registration Form. Print, sign by hand and upload a photo. PCAHA does not accept digital signatures on this form.

  4. 4

We email you your Hockey Canada ID

Along with the link to complete season registration and pay on TeamSnap. New player fees are the same as returning players for your division.

Pre-register a new player Download Form 141 Never played before? Ask about First Shift.
  1. 1

Confirm you live inside LMHA boundaries

PCAHA requires players to register with the association for where they live. Check the residency section below if you're not sure which side of a boundary you're on.

  2. 2

    Pre-register as a transfer

Upload your residency documents and your player's previous association details. Homeowners need the 2026 Property Tax Statement plus two Option 2 documents. Renters need three Option 2 documents, since PCAHA no longer accepts lease agreements for transfers.

  3. 3

Fill out PCAHA Forms 141 and 133

Form 133 is the Player Movement Form that releases your player from their previous association. Both must be hand signed.

Transfer fee $15. Special transfers (outside boundary) $75, at the discretion of PCAHA.
  4. 4

    Complete registration on TeamSnap

Once your transfer is approved we email you the link. Transfers can complete registration on or after June 1.

  1. 1

    Find your Hockey Canada ID

On any previous season's roster or in Spordle. Email the office if you can't find it and allow 48 hours.

  2. 2

    Register on TeamSnap

U21 is for players born 2006 to 2008. Payment in full or instalments at registration.

Number of U21 teams depends on registrations, coaches and ice. Confirmed by the board in September.

  • Credit card in full through TeamSnap
  • Automatic credit card instalments: deposit at registration, balance split monthly through November

Rep evaluation refunds

Evaluation fees are non-refundable once the player has stepped on the ice for their first session. Players released from rep evaluations are placed on a 'C' team with no additional fee.

Goaltenders

Goalies pay the same division fee as skaters. Goalie gear is available on loan for U7 to U11 through the equipment manager.

Questions

Stuck on something?

The office answers email within 48 hours during registration season. Tell us which step you're on and we'll get you moving.

What's the difference between 'A' and 'C' hockey?

'C' is house hockey: balanced teams, everyone plays, no tryouts. 'A' is rep hockey with tiered competitive teams selected through evaluations. Both get the same practice and development time.

My child has never skated. Where do we start?

First Shift is a six week intro program for ages 5 to 6 with full gear included. Register as a new player and choose First Shift when asked.

Can I choose my child's coach or team?

No. Teams are balanced by the division manager. Requests to play with a sibling in the same division are considered.

What if my division is full?

You'll be placed on a waitlist in order of application and contacted as soon as a spot opens. Waitlisted players aren't charged.
